All house builders across the United Kingdom who ARE registered, like us, with an appropriate professional warranty scheme such as the NHBC are governed by The Consumer Code for Home Builders.
This is an industry led scheme which gives protection and rights to purchasers of new homes. This ensures that you are treated fairly and are informed about their purchase of new property adequately before and after signing a contract with us.
Who Are The NHBC?
NHBC are the UK's leading independent new build home warranty and insurance provider. Buildmark is the name of the product that they offer to safeguard buyers. It currently protects around 1.5 million homes in the UK.
Buildmark provides pre-completion deposit protection; a two year builder warranty period backed by the NHBC resolution service and guarantee; and then an eight year insurance policy for physical damage to the home caused by a failure to build to the NHBC Technical Requirements.
